as you may have seen on the telle, H&M have launched a new spring summer ad campaign, and pretty much shows their newest collection just launched, featuring bright paisley patterns and clashing colours to colour block (two great new trends which are super hot this summer!).

so here's just a quick post (as I'm busy with coursework yet again...) picking out a few of my faves, and that will hopefully be hanging in my wardrobe after payday next week (woo)

.... These are probably my favorite item out of everything I've seen from the new Spring/Summer collection, and they will definitely be hanging in my wardrobe soon! hopefully along with another few items to finish the colour and pattern clashing look which is bang on trend right now.

My beautiful sister was home last weekend (yeyy!) Unfortunately I was stuck in a flippin' department store all day Saturday working. Fortunately my college timetable is amazing and I only have one lesson on Monday so pretty much get a full weekend anyway, woooo! Because of my fortunate timetable, and a convenient doctors appointment, Mel took the day off on Monday so we could have some fun sister time :).

We took a trip with our Mumma and Nan, and went off to Wickham (one of THE cutest villages ever) although there is literally nothing there, apart from a few restaurants and the classic essential chemist, one thing that there is, which is exciting, is an old Mill (see photo below), it has now been restored into a cute vintage shop selling clothes, jewelry, homewares and furniture, although it was closed on Monday, we still took a trip down there to have a look at the outside on our route through the main square,where we went to probably the best café in the world called Lilly's. After doing a quick outfit post on the way, of course!

I've been here a few times, and each time had a high tea (consisting of a pot of tea, cute little sandwiches, a humongous slice of cake, and a scone with all the trimmings), it seemed silly to break the tradition so I opted for this again, as did the rest of our party because they are just amazing :).

today's outfit was a complete bargain and actually one of my favorite outfits! firstly my Daisy Street Shoes (as posted here) I saw in my look magazine a few weeks ago, completely fell in love with them and searched high and low for them straight away. Whilst on their website there were two or three pairs which were exactly the same and luckily, the only ones which were in my size were in sale for £20! Scoree!!

Secondly we have this beaut of a dress, whilst on my huge pay day shopping spree I went into New Look to look for heels and came out with a dress, jumper (here) and boots (here) woopsies! Again luckily for me, they were holding a special student event and I got 20% off everything, making this dress £16.99.

Possibly THE best £16.99 I've ever spent as its so easy to wear and doesn't need much accessorizing to look nice

summer breeze.

Hola my pretties :), I went up to London at the weekend for my sisters birthday which was nice, so this was a quick outfit post in the morning before we set off around London town :). I got my sister to take them for me as she's just bought a DSLR camera so you may have noticed that these pictures are actually of some better quality than my usual posts.

I also got an email from Zara the other day about a competition they are holding, it's called Zara People! and basically you just upload a photo of your outfit featuring at least two items from the Zara spring summer 2012 collection and if your photo gets featured you're in for a chance of winning $300! Woo. So I've selected a few of these photos to enter. also knowing me ill be off shopping again soon so no doubt ill be entering more as well!

So for a few posts now I've been talking about my sisters birthday, and finally I've got round to telling all you beautiful people about it. Yeyy! So the festivities started on Thursday, her actual birthday where we went off to TGI Fridays and stuffed our faces with big burgers and coke floats (yum!)

Saturday I finished work early (woooo!) and then we set of to London where there was a surprise party waiting for my little sister. As part of her present there was a trip to the theater, the London Palladium, which was an amazing treat for us all. we went to see Wizard Of Oz, and oh my gosh it was absolutely incredible! we all came out singing the songs and wanted to go back and watch it all over again... form flying witches and monkeys to rotating yellow brick roads, the performance had it all! Here's a few snaps from the day and my theater outfit...

ice cream sundae.

I am so extreeemley up for summer right now! And I am loving the pastel trends, when I first started blogging I did a huge post about the new season pastel trends (here) and now they are all starting to come into the shops I've (yet again) been shopping when I shouldn't be...but these pastel trends are just utterly irresistible I couldn't resist another 'little' shopping spree!

The one thing I do find however when I am wearing the pretty pastel colours, I do feel like a bit of an ice cream... The only reason I can think for this is that when I did do the first post about pretty pastels in the Mulberry photo shoot they were all on the beach with giant ice creams...

In my lunch break on Saturday I popped over to this huge warehouse shop that sells literally anything and everything you could think of. I picked up a giant cupcake mold an icing set; it was my sisters birthday last week and I was thinking of making her one for her cake, I decided to test it out first, earlier last week just to be sure I could actually pull it off making it look presentable. So it was all going well until it came to getting the cake out the molds (forgot to grease them whoops!) so it all came out in pieces...

A bowl of butter icing later, and lots of sprinkles and messy worktops... here was the finished first attempt...

we decided it be best not to do this for the cake :p so more pics to come for the final master piece!

(and coincidentally my outfit matches the cake.... slightly awkward??)

So Monday was a glorious day. No college. Lazy Day not doing any work (whooops!) And it was Looveelly and sunny,yey! after sitting on my arse pretty much all day, I cant even remember what doing, but at about 4 i decided to get myself dressed and lookin' pretty for a blog post. And yes sorry it has taken til now to get it posted! But I've been busy bee with college again and have actually had a social life this week!

Whilst getting myself ready I was messing around with my hair and put it up in a scruffy loose pony tail, actually thought it looked quite good and a bonus, I didn't use a whole can of hair spray to keep it looking voluminous, as you may have noticed in previous posts I nearly always have a bit of a birds nest/scarecrow do going on...

I was also experimenting with my outfit. Now I've had this shirt for about a year now and not worn it once! Loved it when I first bought it, got it home and tried it on with a few outfits. Hated it. Basically it is incredibly short at the front (I'd say around belly button height) and at the back is incredibly long (half way between the bum and the knee) so I never really know how to wear it. So I don't know what made me think of it, but I swizzled it round and put it on back to front. And surprisingly I now love this top (although it can only really be worn either tucked in or with a cardi or something to cover up the bottom of the front (at the back :s) as it looks a bit funny. So here's my lazy Monday sunset snaps...
