I'm the sort of person who never seems to win anything. As a child when we went to the family resort parks like Butlins and Haven, it was always the other kids winning competitions etc. So every time I enter competition nowadays, there is only a tiny part of me that actually believes/hopes that this time may be my lucky time.... end of the sob story now...

a few weeks ago I was very lucky to win a blog give away by the accessory stand :). After being announced on twitter, I sent them my address and received my goodies within a couple of days which I was very pleased about.

yet again another rainy day (sad face). but hopefully this summery post will brighten up your day again, as I took the photos last week when it was sunny and lovely, and now have only just got round to posting it!

Just a quick post to share with you my Easter celebrations and how to get that cute Easter chicken look...

To kick of the celebrations, me and my sister decorated our Easter tree (well...twig) Last year my mum had made little eggs and bows and letters spelling out Easter. I had also bought some little chicks from pound land that we put in the tree this year, and from Christmas we had these colourful birds that we put on the twig too.

As you all probably know by now, I am probably a little too obsessed with pink! Therefore I have named this post,

the girl in pink...

I've recently bought this new bag from BooHoo after taking much persuading from the naughty side of me. It was £25, bargain! But I was originally put off by the delivery costs...not so much of a bargain, boo! and the fact that I wasn't sure if it was going to look mega tacky, but figured with the right outfit it would look lush and girly. So after lusting over it for a couple of weeks I realized I literally couldn't live without it!

Luckily I did get it, as now I cant seem to find it on the website to share with you lovelies. However if you are in search of this hot pink bag, they sell similar ones from Paul's Boutique and Primark also sell them in loads of colours!

This was a bright summers day when I took these photos and have now only just got round to posting, so excuse the drastic change in weather, but hopefully this will brighten up your rainy day :)

WARNING: ...this post is not about a mishap with fake tan.... In actual fact it is about my new purchase perfect for colour blocking!

When I was in London a few weekends ago, I managed to get a bit of shopping in before the theater :). My sister took me off to this super cool shop called Monki. As we ere only there for a few minutes before the performance, I was in a bit of a rush and made a bit of an impulse buy! whoops. I bought this orange skirt without trying it on, and without even really thinking about it. I've not worn it yet as I'm still a bit unsure. But I've just tried it on in the process of doing this post. I went for a bit of a 60's/70's look with the colour blocking and shirt with a bow collar. I've wanted something orange for ages and thought that jeans or a maxi skirt would be too much. So I settled for this. I really like it, but am struggling to find things to wear it with... any suggestions?!
