my lunch date.

Yesterday was my last ever day of lessons for the rest of my life! Finishing college is an exciting experience, but also a funny one that hasn't seemed to sink in yet for anyone. It's sort of the end, but then you realise you still have to go back in for exams, so I guess the real closure will be the last exam day (cannot wait!!)

luckily for me,  I took textiles meaning I did not only have the best two years so far of school/college being able just to set and make things and get an A Level out of it, but it also means I have one less exam to revise for during study period as I have already completed it :). My friend Cathy is in the same position as me, with only a couple of exams, and going to Bournemouth arts in September to do a foundation course we're literally going though exactly the same thing right now and cannot wait to buy all our pots and pans and bedroom accessories for our house down there with the other girls. (ooo a parcel has just arrived full of goodies for uni stuff, how coincidental!)

In all this excitement we found ourselves unusually spontaneous in this stressful time. I called her up late Tuesday night and suggested we go to the pub for lunch as a pre finishing college lunch date. So Wednesday lunch time we trotted down the hill to the cutest pub near where I live. With cider and cheesy garlic bread (getting a little bit tipsy before college! such a lightweight whoops) we had a lovely afternoon catching up and getting excited about uni together later this year.

Anyway enough from me, this special post features my darling friend Cathy about your little lunchy together..I'm off to open my parcel!
